The later scenes, with the ghost appearing in the hallways or crashing the guys' night in rather chilling fashion that's still utterly hilarious as well, there's more traditional scenes that counterbalance these previous efforts which really makes for quite a well-rounded effort. Going from the opening seance which is rather chilling featuring the ghost interrupting their seance and continually attacking them, the early scenes showing her school and home life that leads to the later events in here and the flashback scene showing her getting attacked which signals the change into the ghost all feature some more straightforward attempts at scares which don't have the same silliness and terror mixed together which is what gives them their more effective staying power. One of the more enjoyable elements here is the fact that there's a rather sizable amount of more intense scares present here rather than going for the mixture of the silly and scary. Overall this one here wasn't all that bad of an effort. Moving to a new apartment building, a teen finds that the ghost that haunts the building is a legendary spirit who killed herself there that has now possessed a troubled young girl and using her to enact revenge against her tormentors, forcing him to deal with the ghosts.
